Bacon Jam will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature local food, local beer and amazing bands.

There are wonderful things happening in downtown Gloversville and 2017 is going to put a spotlight on them like never before!

This October, downtown Gloversville will be transformed for a new music and food festival! Bacon Jam will be held on October 7th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bleecker Square. The festival will feature the best of local music, food producers and brewers. Bacon-centric food will feed the crowd while amazing music feeds their souls. The event is expected to welcome 3,000 people to downtown Gloversville and garner a lot of attention for the City.

We are currently looking for business and community sponsors to help with event costs. Here is a link to the sponsorship package list along with a sponsorship form link for you to use to contribute to Bacon Jam.

What will your sponsorship funds be used for? In addition to helping offset the costs of producing Bacon Jam, your money will help us create and install wayfinding signs from the 30A arterial to downtown Gloversville. Thousands of cars travel this stretch everyday with no signs indicating downtown Gloversville is a short hop away. Signs will be installed prior to May 2018 – just in time to draw tourists, locals and potential customers to Downtown businesses.

Sponsorship levels range from $150 to $2,500. Each contribution is greatly appreciated. Every sponsor will help to make a lasting change in downtown Gloversville. If you would like to become a sponsor but don’t see a level or package that meets your needs, please feel free to contact me.

The sponsorship deadline is September 1, 2017. This will allow event organizers to fully promote your business along with Bacon Jam. Sponsorships will be accepted after the deadline, but inclusion in pre-event marketing is not guaranteed after September 1st.

Thank you for your business presence in Gloversville and Fulton County. Thank you for your support of Bacon Jam and the impact it will have on our community. As always, please feel free to contact Jennifer Jennings, Downtown Development Specialist with any questions you may have about this or other efforts in downtown Gloversville at either 518.725.7700 ext. 107 or
