New construction to meet diverse business needs

Walmart Distribution Center

In 1995, Walmart chose Fulton County and the Johnstown Industrial Park as the site of its Regional Return Center. The success of that project encouraged Walmart to choose Fulton County once again – this time for its 900,000 square foot Northeast Regional Food Distribution Center. In 2000, Fulton County celebrated the grand opening of this 868,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center, which comprises 474,000 sq. ft. dry goods storage, 366,000 sq. ft. refrigeration and freezer storage, and 28,000 sq. ft. office space. The capital investment in Fulton County exceeded $70 million dollars and Walmart employs nearly 900.

Johnstown Professional Office Complex

The Johnstown Hotel has been a significant landmark in the city of Johnstown since the “Roaring Twenties.” The building fell into disrepair in the early 1990s and was headed toward demolition. However, in 2000, the building was purchased and underwent an almost two-year renovation. This $3 million rehabilitation transformed the old hotel into a state-of-the-art, multi-tenant office facility, located in the heart of the downtown district of Johnstown.

 Estee Commons

A nearly 100 year-old schoolhouse, built on seven acres of land in downtown Gloversville, closed its doors in 1997. In 2003, an extensive process of converting that schoolhouse into upscale apartments was initiated. Phase I of the project was completed in 2007 with the opening of 39 luxury apartments.
