Fulton County has plenty to offer.
Affordable, convenient location with enhanced quality of life
Fulton County, seated at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, is centrally located. Whether you prefer an outdoor adventure or big city thrills, we are in the perfect position for you and your workforce. Just a short drive to New York City, Boston and Montreal, Fulton County offers the access to larger cities with the everyday benefits of small town life.
And whether you are looking to rent, purchase, build or move in, Fulton County has what you are looking for at an affordable rate.
Abundant resources and prepared workforce
Fulton County has a hard-working, skilled workforce. Fulton County Center for Regional Growth (FCCRG) coordinates employee identification and readiness programs throughout the county, and the Fulton County educational community ensures an abundance of skilled workers trained to your specifications.
With its NYS Certified Bacteriological Environmental Laboratory, Fulton County has almost one billion gallons of available water in storage and has not experienced a water shortage or restriction in decades.
Fulton County is also fortunate to have a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant. The Gloversville-Johnstown Joint Wastewater Treatment Facility is designed to treat domestic sanitary sewage from the cities of Gloversville and Johnstown, as well as industrial wastewater. Peak treatment capacity is 30 mgd. A recent $11 million facility upgrade results in additional treatment capacity and the ability for the facility to generate nearly all electricity needed for efficient operation.
History of success
At FCCRG, we have built or refurbished 46 buildings with a total square footage of 2,447,379 – a total investment of $120,742,521.
